Hi, Angel! Welcome to Ukiyo Cosmetics — your new favorite destination for the sweetest, softest body and lip care. I’m Tatyana, the founder and CEO, I’m so glad you’re here in our little pink corner of the internet! 🎀

Ukiyo Cosmetics was born out of my personal struggles. For as long as I can remember, I’ve dealt with confidence issues, mental health challenges, and self-doubt. From a young age, I found myself constantly comparing every detail of my life to others:
“Why isn’t my hair that long?”
“Why don’t I look like that?”
“Why can’t my skin be clear like hers?”

These thoughts were on repeat, chipping away at my self-esteem and making me feel like I wasn’t enough. Even as I got older and tried to build confidence, the self-doubt and negativity often crept back in — I know how overwhelming it can be to feel like you’re never enough. The constant comparison, the inner voice telling you otherwise. . . it’s exhausting. . .

But here’s what I want you to know: regardless of what your mind tells you, you deserve to feel beautiful, loved, and cherished, just as you are! ❤︎

In 2020, I started a small business with big dreams, but it didn’t feel like “me.” I wasn’t connecting with the mission, and I knew I had more to offer. A year later, I discovered the word “Ukiyo,” which means "The Floating World"— a reminder to live in the moment, free from life’s worries. It clicked instantly. I realized I wanted to create something that wasn’t just about products but about helping others feel beautiful, confident, and true to themselves. I spent a year to finalizing my vision, and on 2/22/22 Ukiyo officially launched.

Currently, as a full-time university student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management, I’m pouring my heart into Ukiyo Cosmetics to bring that vision to life with every product we offer, from our decadent body care to our sweet lip care essentials. Whether you’re applying a silky lip oil or indulging in a nourishing body oil, my goal is to help you feel soft and radiant in your own skin ⟡ ݁₊ .

Starting Ukiyo changed everything for me. It gave me purpose, a community of wonderful people, a sense of joy, and a reason to embrace myself in ways I never had before. Through creating products that nourish the skin and delight the senses, I’ve been able to heal and grow, and now, I’m here to share that journey with you! 🌷

With the support of my amazing mom, who’s been my best friend and biggest cheerleader; and my loving boyfriend, who helps me recenter when i feel lost, I’ve been able to follow my dreams. This journey has been long, but so worth it.
